LOCATION:  Spearing around the island of Cozumel and from Playa de Carmen.
The beautiful island of Cozumel, only an half an hour ferry ride from the mainland, has great spots to spearfish. Coralheads, drop offs, etc. Good fishing for beginners and experienced people alike. Of course, we stay out of the protected areas and will choose a depth you really like.
The coast of Playa del Carmen, 45 minutes south of Cancun, is our newest location and offers fantastic spots to spearfish. Ledges and drop offs are typical for this area. You might run into some good fish at 15 ft or in deep waters as well…

DIVING CONDITIONS:  Warm waters, ranging between 68 and 85 Fahrenheit (20-30 Celsius). Visibility is 30-100 feet (10-30 meters). Most spots are only a 20 minute boat ride away. We spear at depths of 10 to 100 feet (3-33m). Coralheads, ledges, drop offs, shipwrecks, deep blue

DIFFICULTY LEVEL:  Cozumel and Playa del Carmen are fantastic for beginners as well as experienced spearos, so for all level of spearos. Beginner? We will learn you how to spearfish. A die-hard spearo? We will hunt your favorite fish.

SPECIES ENCOUNTERED:   Snapper (Cubera, Red, Mutton, Grey), Grouper (Black, Tiger) Amberjack, Permit, Spanish Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo.

BOAT & ACCOMODATIONS:  Our boats are typical Pangas, fully equipped and safe, our guides and captains only do spearfishing and are very safety minded. Drinks and fruit included in the trips.
