LOCATION:  Punta Hermosa Beach is 45km south of the city of Lima- Peru; 2 hours from the Jorge Chavez airport in Callao.
Pick-ups at the airport or Taxis charge you $ 45.00 to come to Punta Hermosa.

DIVING CONDITIONS:  The waters in this area are warm 18 to 24 Celsius during the summer (December to March), and cold 12 to 16 during the winter.  Visibility is usually 4 to 14 meters.  Most spots can be speared at depths of 5 to 15 Meters, while other areas range in the 8 to 25 meters; we have rocks spots near the lodge, only walking to the beach no more than 12 meters deep, and we have the Pachacamac Island 15 minutes in Zodiac from the beach with many nice spots to go diving.
DIFFICULTY LEVEL:  This destination is good for all level of spearos, but if you want to catch good fishes you need to have some experience the Pacific ocean here is dark and strong.

SPECIES ENCOUNTERED:  In front of the lodge, or at the Pachacamac Island , Chitas (Anisotremus scapularis), Loros (Oplegnatus insignis), Cabrillas, Pintadillas, Cherlos, Fortunos (Yellow tail-Seriola Peruviana and Lalandi), Flounders (Big ones 12 kilos),can be found..
At the North of Peru (Piura , species such as grouper, Black grouper, goliath grouper, cubera snapper, amberjack,  yellow tail, parrot fish, warm water all year and good visibility!

BOAT & ACCOMODATIONS:  2 pneumatic boats with 25 HP motors are ready to go dive, Zodiac and Avon boats.

ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:  Very good Surfing, fishing, and visit the famous ruins of Pachacamac, Special Peruvian Horses in Mamacona, and very special Peruvian food!
